The Master Builder Team Approach

For most of the 5,000 year evolution of architecture, design and construction were united as one with a single individual being responsible for the execution of a project from conception to completion. This individual was granted the title of “Master Builder”. Modern home owners and building professionals are once again beginning to appreciate the benefits of the master builder team concept, which today means engaging a designer and a builder at the same time and effectively making it a team effort from the onset instead of going too far down a particular path with one or the other. Design and construction are integrated early, and information flows seamlessly between the architect, engineers, interior designers, builder, and craftsman during all phases of the project. This is the master builder team approach.

Depending on the project, New MGMT can provide parts or all of the Master Builder services. We have single handily executed numerous projects with minimal third party contributions, but are able to adapt and include input from any discipline along the way. All project types and personalities are welcome, building is always linear and participants will either fall in line or get out of the way. This is the New MGMT approach.

 

New Construction

New construction and/or tear down construction can take on many shapes and sizes and be presented to & by all sorts of creators, dreamers and pragmatists for reasons as individual as their own personality. Our role at New MGMT is that of a realist with experience to complete any size project, from a single story single family home to a multi-story multi-construction type multi-use facility to private or public occupancy.

Renovations

Our renovation experience is vast and we are uniquely qualified to complete any size project, from a roof replacement to a complete interior and exterior renovation of every construction type and age. We can even build that new addition or permitted ADU.

Construction Management

When a project is already conceived, permitted and ready to build, an owner/developer still needs a boots on the ground representative. A construction manager becomes the representative for all of the consultants, vendors, contractors, inspectors, adjusters and all other participants in the actual execution of the project. This manager acts in the best interest of the owner/developer to expeditiously execute the project with the desired results from all of the relevant parties. This takes time and universally time is money. Our extensive design/build background inevitably helps facilitate with discerning skill and taste.
