Michael Baker (New MGMT founder) is a modern Master Builder, serving primarily as a principal developer, owner builder representative and/or design + construction manager. With a background in architecture and vast construction type experience, Michael has been producing high-end and well-built residences and commercial spaces on the West Coast for over 20 years. The New MGMT team is known for working intimately with clients to provide them with the thoughtfully conceived and beautifully built project of their dreams without turning over a two dimensional project to a traditional general contractor. We work with partner/clients who believe in a better way creating environments and in the pursuit of the best most sensible solution in every situation. Every building project has many. Our design/build model effortlessly integrates process and material selection. The client's time is efficiently spent making real design decisions that will ultimately realize their vision in the order that they need to be made in order to maximize progress. Michael can assist with all the details, such as budgets and permitting (or not), selecting consultants and (sub)contractors, as well as picking plumbing fixtures, decorative hardware, lighting, etc. As a LEED Accredited Professional bringing sustainability to the forefront of each opportunity, we provide solutions for efficiencies both inside and outside of the home. Because each individual owner's needs and budgets drive every detail, each project is uniquely appointed and managed, yet always well executed and built to endure.
